BECOME A VOLUNTEER
Volunteers are an integral part of the Regional Parks Botanic Garden's "family." They assist and support the garden with their time and their talents and make many things possible that could not otherwise be accomplished.
The garden has a dedicated circle of over 100 volunteers. They range in age from 9 to 90 and in experience from retired professional gardeners to novices with full-time outside jobs, but all share an interest in public service and an attraction to the garden.
We value the contribution of each individual volunteer and invite you to give your time in whatever activity appeals to you. In the process, you'll get to meet new people, expand your knowledge of native plants, and spend time in the beautiful setting of the Regional Parks Botanic Garden.
There are several ways you can support the Botanic Garden as a volunteer: by leading tours as a docent, propagating native plants, collecting seed in the garden, helping our Friends organization with projects and special events, and assisting the gardeners.
